Dark Coast Press has many outlets for single work submissions. On darkcoastpress.com, we are releasing one free article per month of new Short Stories, Essays, or Poetry from submitting authors. This allows us to be active in the literary community, and it gives new and current writers a chance to get their work published and read. With your submission, please provide your name and contact information, and a brief description (or query) of what you are submitting.

Where do submissions go if they are not accepted?
They are respectfully destroyed and recycled. Please do not send us anything that is irreplaceable or that you
require to be returned to you.

Do you help writers get better?
We believe that if your work isn’t there yet but that it can get there, we have people on staff that would be willing
to help you become a better writer. We believe it’s important to help readers and writers become better at reading and writing.
We will extend offers of free consultation and editorial assistance to those who we think need it, and can provide information on
editorial services for hire to seek extended attention and support.

Send a book back to us within 14 days of receipt and we will refund the purchase price. Books must be in new condition.
We cannot refund the cost of shipping. Please include a copy of your invoice with the returned item. If you have any questions, please contact (insert email address). There will be no refund available for electronic downloads (unless the file is corrupt).
